Basically a crippled NAS December 3, 2009

Am hugely disappointed with this unit.

Bought it for 2 reasons:

1. To stream video to my PS3 (only music and photos seem to work which I don't care about).
2. To access my shared folder from outside my home.

It does neither. It is essentially an overpriced, crippled NAS. If someone has figured out what the problem is please advise. I am not a technical novice and have tried various configurations. Sony is no help as they just refer to the manual (which I have followed to no avail).
