In your init.txt file, sv_name requires a string value:
sv_name [string] (Default value is “Haloâ€)
A string is any alpha-numeric series of characters. A sentence is a string, a word is a string. So, you get the idea.
You must enclose the string in " " quotation marks:
sv_name "Bloody Gulch Server"

I love to play Halo. You need to run Halo as an administrator amd tell anyone who wants to join to do that too. Also if your whole family shares a computer and you have limited rights, use the account that has the most power because it will allow you to have the fastest internet and better chance at succeeding. if you are behind a router it could be that it is blocking access to the ports used to connect to the game…try checking your firewall, too.

ok number 1: u shouldn't be playing halo ce cause it rated 17+
ok heres the answer: u have to resfresh the list u will see it near the bottom of the monitor
if its not that then go check if ur connected to the net before u play halo
if its not the 2 then go check if ur cd key is correct cuz halo ce let u play if u type radmon stuff for the cd key but if the cd key is wrong they don't allow u to go play mp/online BUT they allow u to play single player but when u go mp/online u can't find any servers
ok the last reason i could think of is that u too updated so no servers are 1.07 yet but i doubt it
